Who you are dealing with

This site is operated by DTC Guys, LLC, a California limited liability company, which also trades as Modern Hero Collective. In these terms, "we" and "us" mean DTC Guys, LLC. Using this site means you accept what follows. If you do not, please do not use it.

What this site is

It describes what we do and links to the places where we do it. Nothing on this site is an offer, a quote, or a contract. Prices, availability, and the scope of any service can change, and describing something here does not oblige us to provide it.

This is not professional advice

Anything published here about growth, marketing, unit economics, or business performance is general commentary. It is not financial, investment, legal, tax, or accounting advice, and it is not tailored to your situation. Do not treat it as a substitute for advice from a qualified professional who knows your circumstances. Any decision you make off the back of it is yours.

Client work is governed separately

If we work together, that engagement runs on its own written agreement, proposal, or statement of work covering scope, fees, timing, and deliverables. That document is the one that counts. Where it conflicts with anything on this site, the signed agreement wins.

Books and digital products

Digital editions, guides, and bundles bought directly from us are licensed to you for your own personal use. You may not resell them, share them publicly, or redistribute them.

Paperback and Kindle editions are sold and fulfilled through Amazon. Those purchases are transactions with Amazon under their terms, not with us, and their policies govern delivery, returns, and refunds.

What belongs to whom

The writing, design, images, frameworks, and other material on this site belong to us or to whoever licensed it to us. You are welcome to read it, quote it with attribution, and share a link to it. You may not republish it wholesale, sell it, or pass it off as your own work.

Using the site sensibly

Do not attempt to break, overload, scrape at volume, or gain unauthorized access to this site or anything connected to it. Do not use the contact form to send unsolicited commercial messages, anything unlawful, or anything abusive.

Links to other places

We link to third-party sites where it is useful. We do not control them and we are not responsible for their content, their products, or how they handle your data.

No warranties

This site is provided as it is. We do not guarantee it will be available without interruption, free of errors, or fit for any particular purpose you have in mind. We work to keep the information accurate and current, but we do not warrant that it is.

Limits on liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, or for lost profits, lost revenue, or lost business arising out of your use of this site or reliance on anything published here. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is capped at the amount you have actually paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing here limits liability for fraud or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

Which law applies

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be handled by the state or federal courts located in San Diego County, California, and you agree to those courts having jurisdiction.

Changes

We may update these terms. The current version always lives here with its date at the top. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised version.
